Dr. Elise is also a 1984 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, and brings special interest in non-traditional pets and wildlife. After marrying Dr. John in 1985, the two established their own practice here in Carol Stream in 1988. Dr. Elise is active in our local schools, and the Carol Stream Chamber of Commerce, and encourages involvement in all local pet events.

Dr. Priya Bhatt was born and raised in the Chicago area. She completed her BS in psychobiology at UCLA and her MS in equine physiology at California Polytechnic State University. Dr. Bhatt received her DVM in 2009 from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Her special interests include, geriatric care, preventive medicine, alternative medicine and non traditional pets. Dr Bhatt lives with Chicu, her chihuahua mix and Rani her cat.

Dr. John is a 1984 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, and is board certified as a specialist in animal behavioral medicine by the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists (ACVB). He is a past president of the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) , and frequent media spokesman on animal interests.

Dr. Mondrian Contreras graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. He completed his internship at VCA Aurora/Berwyn Animal Hospital 2011, and has special interest in surgery, oncology and dermatology. Dr. Contreras currently lives in Naperville with his wife, twin boys and Emiko the family cat.
