Dr. Elaine McCarthy graduated from the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016.
She was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN where she grew up with her beloved family kitties and is the youngest of 5 sisters. She attended Purdue for 8 years completing both her undergraduate and veterinary degrees.
On her days off she enjoys going to the park with her kids Amelia and Ben, playing games with her family and friends, crafting, and snuggling with her kitties Wrigley and Rory. She loves veterinary medicine for the variety of cases it brings, the continuous learning it demands, and the chance to support people, pets, and public health.
